Students for Life of America (SFLA) has become a nationwide force for protecting life. What is fundamentally a campus organization has expanded far into mainstream advocacy and social dialogue which surpasses campuses. SFLA is functionally an advocacy-based organization, but more than focusing on laws and policy, it is changing the hearts of people. The pro-life movement has formed various such organizations to assist in this cause to shift the culture towards life. SFLA used to host their own National Conference but is now one of the main sponsors for the newly-formed National Pro-Life Summit. This Summit acknowledges the vast richness in how pro-life action occurs across the country.

Students for Life of America is hosting their National Conference in January 2020. It is the newly-named National Pro-life Summit. This new title also describes a collaborative essence over the truly visionary purpose for which this summit is intended. The theme of this year’s conference is “History Makers: Casting a Vision of Post-Roe America.”

Coming on the tail of the March for Life in DC, the National Pro-Life Summit is sponsored by Students For Life of America as well as Live Action, Heritage Foundation, Heritage Action for America (the grassroots arm of the Heritage Foundation), and Alliance Defending Freedom.

The National Pro-Life Summit seeks to make an activist out of all of us! The collaborative spirit of this event is also shown in the community aspect of how it trains all people to be activists for preborn people. Such collaboration is further shown in the number of sponsorsspeakers, and organizations involved with this effort. We are not only preparing to end Roe v. Wade, but to weave foundational moral norms back into America’s social fabric.

Students for Life of America has taken tremendous strides toward its mission of ending abortion in our lifetime. Pro-life students nationwide have received guidance in the movement from SFLA. Beginning as young as middle school, SFLA has prepared pro-lifers to engage most notably as undergraduates, extending even to law and medical school students. SFLA gives comprehensive tools to become pro-life activists through activism kits, leadership development, grassroots mobilization, and field team engagement. SFLA also holds energizing national conferences. This year’s conference comes on the tail of the March For Life in Washington, D.C. in January 2020.

The National Pro-Life Summit will host several tracks of workshops. The tracks consist of Leading in Culture, Empowering Women, Politics and Law: Winning Strategies, Changing Minds, and Bioethics and Battles Ahead. Your seminar schedule is customizable and is sure to equip you with more tools to engage your community on pro-life issues.

The speakers for the National Pro-Life Summit are seminal contributors to pro-life values and activism in this country ,including Charlotte Pence, Gov. Scott Walker, Patrina Mosley, David Bereit, Lila Rose, SFLA president Kristan Hawkins, and many more!

Here is an SFLA-provided planning guide to help prepare for March for Life and the National Pro-Life Summit in January 2020. See you there!
