URGENT NEED: HDI Launches New Registry Project in Response to Pandemic

/ National

Human Defense Initiative is so excited to announce we are launching a new fundraiser called the Baby Box Project in response to the COVID-19 pandemic!

So many expecting mothers have been faced with losing their income. No one imagined their pregnancy like this. Many expecting mothers can’t have baby showers and some are struggling to even put food on the table. That is why we are launching a baby box project – to help moms in need right now!

Baby boxes will allow us to have the supplies on hand and help more families at a faster rate than our usual registries to meet the current extenuating need.

Our goal is to fill each box with essential items one would need to care for a newborn including diapers, wipes, clothes, bottles, towels, socks, and blankets etc.

To collect items for the box we have put together an Amazon registry (HERE). Simply select the item you wish to send, choose “gift address” at the check-out and it will ship directly to our Executive Director who will be putting the boxes together and ensuring they are sent to families in need.

We are also collecting funds for shipping if you would like to help cover shipping costs. Donations are being collected HERE.

We would love for you to partner with us to help ensure expecting moms have what they need to care for their babies during this uncertain time. We thank you advance for your support!

Even if you can’t give, we would really appreciate if you shared and prayed over this project. Your support means everything to us!
