Human Defense Initiative is excited to announce our latest fundraiser for an expecting mother in need!
Mama C is a hardworking young mother and expecting her second child any day! When she first found out she was pregnant, she contemplated abortion because they weren’t in the best position financially. However, she knew she would regret it and thankfully chose life.
She was recently evicted from her place but secured somewhere else to stay and needs assistance with a few baby essentials for both her 2-year-old daughter and her new baby, whose gender she’s keeping a surprise, before her second child’s arrival!
Her biggest needs are a crib, a bassinet, a breast pump, a baby carrier, and car seats, but she also needs diapers, wipes, and some breastfeeding supplies.
We couldn’t be more proud of Mama C for having the courage to reach out for help for her little ones! Sometimes expecting mothers need a helping hand. Here at Human Defense Initiative, we want all mothers to feel confident they have what they need to love and provide for their babies.
