Human Defense Initiative is excited to announce our first registry of the new year!
Mama B is a single expecting mother who recently escaped an abusive relationship and is currently not able to work due to being high risk with blood pressure issues. Mama B had quite a bit of things for her daughter but devastatingly lost it when her ex-boyfriend set the baby’s stuff on fire to get back at her. After the incident, Mama B shared her story desperately seeking any resources that could help and we reached out to her to offer support.
She has since moved out of state to get away from her ex-boyfriend. She doesn’t have much support from her family but she has re-accumulated a few baby items through a registry she put together while on our waiting list thanks to a few other pro-life advocates. However, there’s still quite a few important items she needs for her baby girl including bath supplies, healthcare items, formula, diapers, and especially a swing, bottle set, clothes and high chair.
Sometimes expecting mothers need a helping hand. Here at Human Defense Initiative, we want all mothers to feel confident that they have what they need to love and provide for their babies.
Let’s show Mama B and her daughter some love and support during this next journey in their lives!
To donate, click the link to the registry below. Make sure to click "gift address" under shipping at the checkout to ensure the gift ships directly to Mama B. Thank you so much for your support in advance! Group gifting is enabled on the more expensive items, so you can also donate toward those gifts!
*Name is anonymous due to privacy and protection reasons
Note: She asked for formula because she’s still trying to get her WIC transferred to her new state.
UPDATE: This registry is now complete thanks to our wonderful donors! We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to or shared Mama B's registry! Please check our donation page HERE for future fundraisers!
